GAKO, an add-on for Google Sheets helps teachers in the assessment process. It is used to assess students (or groups of students) with a series of rubrics designed by the teacher.

GAKO automates the entire process. First, teachers fill in all necessary data regarding students (including names and email addresses), class-work and related information, as well as the rubrics intended to use on Google Sheets. Once completed, the add-on will:

• Create a Google Spreadsheet with the contents of the GAKO.

• Provide multiple functions and script buttons that facilitate the work of teaching staff.

• Process and check the data.

In addition, GAKO allows:

• A better, more graphical and simple assessment of students.

• It is generally intended to facilitate continuous students assessment of the so called ETHAZI educational methodology in vocational training in the Basque Autonomous Region.
